
Lisa is the founder and CEO of Going to School, a creative not-for-profit education trust that makes design-driven stories to teach the poorest kids on the planet 21st Century skills at school (and on national TV). Lisa is a writer, loves design and has lived in India for 18 years. Going to School stories have been incorporated into the national curriculum where they are read by 10 million children every year, their movies aired on national channels and seen by over 100 million people. The organization is a team of inspired writers, designers, artists, teachers, economists and believers that stories can transform the way children learn. Currently working in 3,500 Government Secondary Schools across Bihar and Jharkhand, India, Going to School directly teaches 500,000 kids in Grade 9 skills at school through stories, games and weekly skills challenges.
