Agenda

The 2016 Teach For All Global Conference, with the theme of Reimagining Education, aims to advance our collective thinking about what kind of education will ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential to shape a better future for themselves and all of us in a rapidly changing world. We will explore the theme through dynamic workshops and discussions with a diverse array of leading thinkers and innovators, along with global and local students. The theme is intended to challenge all of us to think creatively and with a student-centered focus, to learn from each other, and to consider the implications of our learning for our own work.

Objectives

  1. Connect: We will strengthen our relationships with one another and further build our global community.
  1. Imagine: We will advance our thinking as a network with these questions in mind:
  • WHY: Why do we need to reimagine education?

  • WHAT: What kind of education will ensure all children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential? What outcomes should we pursue for students and what will it take to get there?

  • HOW: How do we, as Teach For All, pursue those outcomes in our work with teachers, alumni and our own organizations?
